Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end scoping, planning, implementation and monitoring of large and complex program for development of innovative Aircraft Interior Connectivity Solutions.
- Interface and coordinate stakeholders at various departments, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Quality teams.
- Coordinate Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and Product Launch of different solutions.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource estimates, timelines and deliverables for the overall program. Coordinate and track project progress with the related Project/ Workstream Managers, adjusting timelines and resources as needed.
- Proactively identify potential risks and roadblocks to successful program execution and develop mitigation plans to ensure program goals are achieved. Escalate at right level and with relevant speed/ anticipation the gaps versus targets.
- Facilitate decision-making and team cohesion:
Guide and support the team in making informed decisions, providing necessary resources and fostering a collaborative environment - Ensure adherence to Safran own standards as well as aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive customer reviews, technical milestone assessments and phase-gate processes
Required are skills and competences typically acquired through the completion of at least a 4-year university degree, as well as specialized knowledge and many years of specific professional experience. These skills and competences may also be obtained through alternative ways.
- Master/Diplom's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience in technical project/program management, ideally in aeronautics, aerospace or automotive industries.
- Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams, with a deep understanding of engineering (Software, Cyber Security, Electronics…), industrialization and program management processes.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources and budgets effectively.
- Financial acumen and understanding of program financial management
- Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (German is a plus), with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred: PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 Certification
- Willingness to travel
