Accountabilities:
How You Will Make an Impact
You will conduct commissioning and maintenance testing on High Voltage and Extra High Voltage AC and DC cable systems in compliance with Industry and International testing standards on client sites.
This role will require travel within Germany with travel to other European countries. You will also have time working remotely at your home writing test reports and planning for site visits with your colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting commissioning and maintenance testing on High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) AC and DC cable systems in compliance with Industry and International testing standards.
- Commissioning and maintenance testing on cable systems.
- The execution of field testing and diagnosis of HV cable systems.
- Development and implementation of new techniques for High Voltage Testing and Diagnosis on HV and EHV AC and DC cable systems.
- The technical analysis of the Partial Discharge Data for OFFLINE commissioning and maintenance testing.
- Carrying out technical analysis of the Partial Discharge Data for ONLINE diagnosis techniques via the use of analysis tools.
- Compiling technical test reports including recommendations based on the analysed test data.
- Operation and support of Line View.
What You Need to Succeed
- A good understanding of High Voltage testing.
