YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The What:
As a Materials Tester / Laboratory Technician at Blackwave, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by preparing, conducting, and evaluating material tests and measurements. You will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to generate reliable data that supports decision-making, product development, and certification.

- Ensure Material Excellence: Prepare and execute material tests to support quality control and product development activities.
- Run Structured Test Campaigns: Conduct physical and technical investigations, document results clearly, and ensure full traceability of data.
- Interpret and Report Results

Analyze test outcomes, identify deviations, and communicate findings transparently to relevant stakeholders. - Apply Standards with Precision: Select and apply appropriate testing methods and measurement equipment in line with applicable industry standards.
- Support Cross-Functional Success: Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to align testing activities with project needs.
- Maintain Laboratory Operations: Ensure proper handling of equipment, maintain an organized work environment, and contribute to safe laboratory operations.
- Degree: Completed vocational training as a materials tester, laboratory technician, metallographer, or comparable technical qualification.
- Experience: Professional experience in materials testing, laboratory work, or quality-related environments within aerospace or high-performance industries.
- Leadership: Ability to take ownership of testing topics and work independently within a structured technical environment.

Skills:
Solid understanding of material properties, testing procedures, and relevant industry standards. - Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and structured working style with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Languages: Fluent in English;
German is a nice to have for on-site collaboration.
