After all, heat treatment is a critical requirement for numerous products, such as carbon fibers, electric vehicle batteries, and (razor) blades. ONEJOON develops the furnace and process technology needed for these applications. Over 125 years of experience in industrial furnace construction, precise engineering and design work, and the spirit of a down‑to‑earth plant manufacturer set us apart.

• Connecting machines via OPC UA
• Setting up Node‑RED flows
• Implementing edge logic
• Optional:
  Implementing simple web or Siemens Unified interfaces

• Degree in (Technical) Computer Science / Automation Engineering, Business Informatics (with a technical focus)
• Basic understanding of:
  • Networks / Communication (e.g., OPC UA, TCP/IP)
  • Programming or scripting
  • Interest in IoT, edge computing, and industrial digitalization
• Important:
  You’re eager to actually make things work—not just plan them in theory

• Work on real‑world industrial projects—no practice exercises
• Insight into cutting‑edge topics such as:
  • Industrial IoT
  • Edge computing
  • Data processing in machine environments
• Plenty of creative freedom and personal responsibility

• 10–20 hours per week
• Start date to be arranged

The end result is a working prototype:
Machine data → Processing → Visualization

You’ll actively help build a foundation that will later be used in real‑world projects.
