Location: Wright-Patterson AFB
MTSI is seeking an Acquisition Program Support SME at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This person will provide acquisition program management support for new and ongoing projects being executed by our customer. The successful candidate must have a mastery of the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned to independently execute acquisition program management tasks.
This position is a hybrid (partial remote and partial in office) work environment. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. How you will contribute to our National Security and Defense mission:
Ensuring new and existing weapons systems and subsystems are developed and fielded to enable US and allied warfighter employment. You'll be a great fit for this role if:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
· Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities.
· Program/project integration.
· Develop and maintain the program's integrated master schedule.
· Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management.
· Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program.
· Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the Program Manager.
· Support the Program Director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.
· Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff. Qualifications
Required:
· Possess a minimum of 20 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work experience
· Have no less than three (3) years' experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last five (5) years
· Possess a Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering MA/MS/ME degree.
· Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to the functional area
· U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements. Even better if you have these desired skills:
· Experience with integrating aircraft subsystems into weapon systems
· Experience with either the U.S. Air Force or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness certification process
· Experience developing and delivering clear written products and high-impact briefings for senior technical and non-technical government leaders.
· Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-tempo mission environment.
· Experience supporting classified and/or special access programs. Clearance Requirements :
Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities. #LI-CH1
