Overview

We are looking for an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to join a leading semiconductor company developing next-generation optical communication technologies.

You will work within a highly collaborative team of verification engineers, digital designers, and architects, contributing to the verification and validation of advanced ASIC products used in high-performance optical transmission solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify complex digital ASIC blocks and subsystems
  • Understand architecture and functional specifications
  • Develop and execute verification plans
  • Build and maintain SV/UVM verification environments
  • Create testbench components, agents, scoreboards, and test scenarios
  • Perform coverage-driven verification and regression debugging
  • Support functional and formal verification activities
  • Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams
  • Provide regular progress and status updates
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years ASIC/Digital Verification experience
  • Strong System Verilog, UVM & SVA expertise
  • Experience developing verification environments from scratch
  • Strong debugging and coverage closure experience
  • C/C++ programming knowledge
  • Familiarity with EDA verification tools and flows
  • Experience with metric-driven verification methodologies
  • MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Basic German communication skills beneficial
Nice to Have
  • Formal verification experience
  • Coherent DSP architecture knowledge
  • Experience with OTN, FlexO, B100G or Ethernet protocols
  • Experience with Git and Jira
  • Scripting/programming experience in Python, Bash, Make, or C++
