We are looking for an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to join a leading semiconductor company developing next-generation optical communication technologies.
You will work within a highly collaborative team of verification engineers, digital designers, and architects, contributing to the verification and validation of advanced ASIC products used in high-performance optical transmission solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Verify complex digital ASIC blocks and subsystems
- Understand architecture and functional specifications
- Develop and execute verification plans
- Build and maintain SV/UVM verification environments
- Create testbench components, agents, scoreboards, and test scenarios
- Perform coverage-driven verification and regression debugging
- Support functional and formal verification activities
- Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams
- Provide regular progress and status updates
- 3+ years ASIC/Digital Verification experience
- Strong System Verilog, UVM & SVA expertise
- Experience developing verification environments from scratch
- Strong debugging and coverage closure experience
- C/C++ programming knowledge
- Familiarity with EDA verification tools and flows
- Experience with metric-driven verification methodologies
- MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Strong English communication skills
- Basic German communication skills beneficial
- Formal verification experience
- Coherent DSP architecture knowledge
- Experience with OTN, FlexO, B100G or Ethernet protocols
- Experience with Git and Jira
- Scripting/programming experience in Python, Bash, Make, or C++
- Work on cutting-edge optical and telecom ASIC technologies
