HSE Site Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Freelance HSE Specialist to support health, safety and environmental compliance during the construction and assembly of concrete tower (CT) structures for a major renewable energy project. This position is offered on a 4:1 rotation, suitable for independent contractors working on a self‑employed basis.
This position is to work with leading onshore wind turbine OEM in Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee HSE compliance during concrete tower assembly activities.
- Review subcontractor RAMS, HSE plans and training matrices.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and safety walkdowns.
- Manage work permits and ensure safe systems of work.
- Support incident investigations and corrective action plans.
- Promote strong HSE culture and environmental best practices.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and HSE‑related suppliers.
- Right to work in Europe without sponsorship.
- Relevant HSE qualification.
- Experience in construction of wind‑sector projects beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and HSE leadership abilities.
- Valid GWO's and Medical.
