** System Engineer, Application and Development (m/f/d)
** who is willing to joining our development team to managing and executing the projects within development and customer support, in minor part at a customer site in Asia or North America or Europe.

Responsibilities:
* Drive development projects for new SEM based applications in the Display manufacturing and SEMI advanced and panel level packaging, including SW, HW and electronic area
* Develop and improve manuals and application documentation
* Follow-up and completion of all technical open issues with support of local teams in Asia or North America or Europe to achieve system acceptance by customer
* Support in sales and service areas through publications, presentations, customer demonstrations
* Development of new system components, features, and test processes
* Control of the system performance in terms of specifications including necessary corrections
* Troubleshooting in mechanics, software, electronics on alpha and beta systems
* Ability to cope with and manage difficult development and application tasks within a global engineering team in Germany, Asia and to the parent company in Santa Clara, USA.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally including temporary assignments at Asian customers (expected to be below 20 % of the time for this role)

Education and experience:

* A technical or university degree in electrical engineering, physics or related engineering disciplines
* At least 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or comparable areas like display manufacturing, with special knowledge of system analysis, computer control, electronics, mechanics, vacuum technology
* Previous knowledge of scanning electron microscope  (SEM) hardware or application is an advantage
* Good analytical skills
* Excellent communication in German and English
