Engineering Manager
Location: Cleveland, OH
Compensation: Up to $160,000 + Bonus (DOE)
Pride Staff is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering, quality assurance, and laboratory operations for a growing manufacturing organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving process improvement, product development, operational excellence, and team performance in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities- Lead Process & Development Engineering, Quality Assurance, and QC Laboratory teams
- Manage engineering projects from planning through execution and reporting
- Drive process improvements, cost reductions, and quality initiatives
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues to support operational goals
- Develop new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods
- Support Sales and Marketing with technical product expertise
- Analyze product performance, field returns, and failure modes
- Manage departmental budgets and performance objectives
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for staff
- Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and collaborate cross-functionally
- M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, or related field
- 5-7 years of materials or process engineering experience with project management responsibility
- 3-5 years of leadership or management experience
- Strong background in manufacturing process improvement and quality systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Experience with statistical analysis and technical reporting preferred
