As a Senior Buyer within an Automotive OEM, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle of high-complexity automotive components and prototype parts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical engineering requirements and commercial execution. You will leverage your deep industry expertise to manage supplier relationships, negotiate high-value contracts, and ensure that all prototype and production materials meet rigorous technical and quality standards.
Requires a BS degree in Business Administration or related degree and a minimum of 5+ years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate will have specialized experience in purchasing and/or contracts. Experience with CAD drawings including knowledge of Automotive and prototype parts is required. Expert PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to travel and work overtime may be required. SAP experience required.
