Job Overview
TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards. The Methods Engineer converts customer data, fabrication drawings, and specifications into manufacturing instructions for PCBs.
Responsibilities- Produce timely, error‑free work on an assigned daily basis.
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings, specifications, and other documentation to assess job requirements.
- Review and analyze electronic data to determine design requirements.
- Calculate lamination construction and impedance requirements for PCBs (stripline, differential, broadside) using specified software.
- Interface with customers, the quote team, customer service, and process engineering.
- High technical knowledge of manufacturing process steps, current capabilities, electronic data, lamination stack‑ups, impedance modeling, and tooling methodologies for blind, buried, and micro‑vias.
- Advanced mathematics, reasoning, and conversion of metric and English measurements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems; proficiency with Genesis software preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in PCBs or a related field.
Compensation varies by location, role, skill set, and experience. Export ComplianceMust comply with TTM Export Control Policies and procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. Responsibilities include identification of ITAR products, badge differentiation for foreign visitors, authorization procedures for foreign visitors, oversight of shipments, and vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
