Advanced Lead Engineer - Software Lead

Job Description Summary

Lead the execution of embedded software on programs to meet assigned objectives in a LEAN environment, creating parameters for decision-making and solving complex problems through immediate action or short‑term planning. Demonstrate domain expertise guiding others in the design, implementation, and testing of open and closed loop control systems or embedded software for digital engine products, impacting short‑term and long‑term business goals.

• Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Security Clearance:
  • Must obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance.
  • Prerequisite for clearance is U.S. citizenship.
• Desired Characteristics:
  • In‑depth knowledge of control theory, signal processing, embedded systems, and software development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and modeling tools.
  • Independent responsibility for deliverables with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work effectively in a team.
  • High attention to detail, adaptability to new environments, and quick pivoting as needed.
• Export Control Compliance:
  • Must be a U.S. Person: lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or granted asylum/refugee status.
  • Access to U.S. export‑controlled information required.
