Environmental Sustainability Coordinator

Plan, implement, and coordinate plant Environmental and Sustainability programs and activities to meet established corporate objectives. Monitor and manage Environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations while supporting sustainability programs for two facilities.

• Manage the existing ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Ensure all Environmental and Sustainability reporting, regulatory are completed on time.
• Develop, coordinate, and perform Environmental and Sustainability training as needed for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Manage and maintain Environmental and Sustainability documentation.
• Perform internal assessments for Environmental programs and create corrective actions.
• Lead or perform Environmental regulatory and compliance inspections and audits, both internal and external.
• Become and maintain Lead Auditor certified for ISO 140001.
• Provide Environmental and Sustainability support in the design and installation of new or modified equipment.
• Assist in investigations of environmental incidents, developing PDCA’s and completing root cause analyses to determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead facilities committee and meetings.
• Assist management and employees with Environmental and Sustainability concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or relevant area of study, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years professional experience in Environmental in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of program requirements regarding EPA.
