Position Summary
Complete mechanical engineering items needed to design, build, ship, and service our products. Typically works on one project at a time (typically creating new designs that are very close to reference designs) and is working under the direction of a Mechanical Designer or Project Engineer.
Position Responsibilities
- Takes initiative to meet challenging project timelines and budgets including hours and materials
- Provides layouts and details to production
- Participates with compiling electronic documentation for Service manuals
- Ensures that product, as designed is in conformance with Company quote and customer purchase order
- Assists with complex system start-up, de-bug and final equipment maturation
- Updates design package to reflect "as shipped" configuration of any critical item
- Provides technical assistance for Estimating, Sales, Production and Service
- Ensures required ISO documentation is completed
- Assists with field installation
Essential Skills and Experience
- Technical degree in Engineering desired
- CAD (3D modeling)
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of industrial automated equipment
- Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic experience desired
- Experience with Industrial Automation
- 3D Solid Modeling
- Computer proficiency including spreadsheet, MS Word, Excel & Power Point
