Test Engineer – Automotive Validation (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support automotive component testing and validation in a dynamic engineering environment. This temporary role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in test engineering, product validation, and performance analysis

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and specifications for automotive components and systems
Set up and configure test equipment, data parameters, and validation tools
Perform component and system-level testing to ensure design feasibility and compliance with performance standards
Analyze test data to identify defects, failure trends, and improvement opportunities
Document results in technical reports and presentations

Recommend design changes and corrective actions based on test outcomes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in test engineering, automotive validation, or product testing
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, data analysis, and testing methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills

Work Environment:

Hands-on testing role requiring lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, and equipment operation
Onsite work in a lab and testing environment
