Experience in industrial environments (chemical plant) Profile with field experience in chemical plants, capable of identifying risks, analyzing complex situations, providing practical solutions and ensuring their correct implementation.

Perform the tasks of advice and supervision in the three regulatory specialties of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics and psychosociology to different centers, in accordance with current legal standards, state, autonomous, and local regulations, as well as internal guidelines. In particular, according to internal specialization, perform the tasks of process and plant safety, industrial safety, and management and response to emergencies, the safety of people, intellectual property, transport of MMPP, HSEQ management system, Product Protection, and products in accordance with current legal standards, state, autonomous, and local regulations, as well as internal guidelines.

Main functions and responsibilities
• Support in the elaboration of SOP (Standard Operational Proces) of repetitive processes in the process units, to establish safe procedures and with integrated risk analysis.
• Carrying out field audits and OPS (Preventive Safety Observations) to identify points of improvement in safety to avoid incidents on the site.
• Coordination and supervision of the work carried out by EESS (service companies) to improve the application of internal regulations and perform audits that help improve safety in their services on the site.
• Technical experience in chemical processes and in the activities of the EESS specialties to have a critical vision from the safety point of view and contribute with good global practices that are being implemented in the sector.
• Proven field experience performing activities in the sector and that allows to be decisive at the level of finding ways to approach works with the greatest safety and in accordance with international safety standards.
• Define and develop the prevention plan, as well as the resulting preventive planning, to promote in general, and in particular in its specialization, prevention in the company and its integration into it.
• Carry out initial and periodic occupational risk assessments, as well as the strategy of measurement and its interpretation, which ensures that the results obtained characterize the situation that is valued and/or an interpretation/application not mechanical of the evaluation criteria.
• Propose measures for the control and reduction of risks in view of the results of the evaluation, monitoring the compliance of the control and risk reduction program and personally carrying out the activities of control of the working conditions that have been assigned.
• Within the specialization, collaborate and participate in the elaboration of self-protection plans, in the actions in case of emergencies/firefighting, first aid, safety analysis of the facilities (Certificates, PHA, etc.), self-inspection, etc.
• Provide training in the prevention of occupational health risks and the corresponding within the specialization.
• Coordinate the surveillance and control of the health of the workers with the Prevention Service Ajenos contracted for this effect and guarantee that the health surveillance is carried out in accordance with the risks of each job position.
