O&M Engineer OPEX (all genders) – Hamburg or BremenJob Responsibilities
- Lead and manage annual OPEX budgeting for offshore wind farm projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational requirements.
- Own and enhance OPEX modelling tools and frameworks
, including planning, forecasting, and cost analysis capabilities. - Model operational logistics and technical performance (e.g. via Shoreline) to support availability assumptions and efficient O&M execution.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise OPEX performance
, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and driving efficiency across the portfolio. - Provide robust cost assumptions and inputs to support new project development and ensure consistency across global markets.
- Partner cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with engineering, procurement, and project teams and senior stakeholders on budgets, risks, and key cost drivers.
- Relevant academic background in engineering, renewable energy, finance, project management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in OPEX planning or financial modelling
, ideally within renewable energy; offshore wind exposure is a plus. - Strong understanding of O&M delivery and OPEX cost planning
, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Solid analytical and commercial mindset within asset‑intensive or infrastructure‑driven environments.
- Desirable technical knowledge of offshore wind systems
, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems. - Permanent employment in an international
