You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. • Manage construction projects for new builds or capital projects, owning project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Direct interface with construction general contractors throughout bidding, award, execution, and closeout/punch‑list phases.
• Conduct negotiations, evaluate bids/proposals, create construction scopes and request for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction projects.
• Manage construction documents including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control and record/report key construction metrics.
• Lead teams in troubleshooting and root‑cause failure analysis associated with equipment failures.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build data centers.

• Interact daily on construction sites as Amazon's owner's representative.
• Drive cost, schedule, and quality while managing vendors and contractors.
• Review construction documents and coordinate with internal and external teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• U.S. Citizenship.

• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment and building codes/regulations (Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations with deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings for all domains.
