Power Plant Engineer (m​/f​/d) - Fixed-Term, 2 Years

N3 Engine Overhaul Services is currently the world's most advanced maintenance company for the repair, overhaul and testing of Rolls-Royce Trent jet engines. • Provide end-to-end technical support for engine and component maintenance throughout the entire maintenance process
• Analyze, evaluate, prepare, and approve work orders and maintenance documentation in compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements, and cost targets (e.g., work scopes, task lists, etc.)
• Coordinate technical matters with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support production planning and production teams with technical inquiries, work instructions, technical planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Introduce new products, repairs, and engine models, including effort estimation, documentation, and implementation
• Review, evaluate, and implement technical changes, as well as conduct and coordinate technical investigations
• Implement and continuously improve work, process, and quality standards in accordance with applicable regulations, OEM requirements, and aviation standards
• Drive departmental process improvements and contribute to cross-functional projects
• Deliver technical training sessions and provide technical briefings

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Several years of professional experience in a technical environment, ideally within the aerospace or engine maintenance industry; experience in work preparation and work order creation is considered an advantage
• Solid technical knowledge of turbofan engines and engine maintenance is desirable
• Strong analytical, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work
• High level of quality awareness and a sound understanding of aviation regulations, industry standards, and commercial considerations
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and teamwork skill
• Assertive, proactive, and highly committed with a hands-on mentality
• Advanced SAP skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good to very good written and spoken English skills
