We are seeking a Test Engineer with experience in Towing Control ECU validation and CAN network testing within the automotive domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, debugging, and validating towing system functionalities to ensure compliance with vehicle requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of Towing Control ECU and related vehicle features.
- Validate CAN/CAN FD communication and diagnose network issues using Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test procedures, and validation reports based on system requirements.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with software, hardware, and system teams for issue resolution.
- Support HIL, vehicle-level, and end-to-end validation activities for towing and trailer control systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Automotive Engineering, or related field
. - 3+ years of experience in automotive ECU testing, preferably with towing, body control, or chassis control systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, UDS diagnostics
, and automotive communication protocols. - Hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio) and test automation concepts.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and processes such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and V-cycle development
