System integrator near Monclova is seeking a Controls Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with programming Allen Bradley PLCs and reading, interpreting and editing electrical schematics and diagrams. Some travel required, abut 25%. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls engineering preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Programming, Commissioning, and Startup of PLC based automation systems
  • Edit and interface HMI programs with PLC and robot functions
  • System design, planning and creating programs, in-house debug, and field start-up of automated systems
  • Develop and write PLC programs to integrate multiple material handling devices with a robot to create an integrated product
  • Start-up and commission completed system at customer site for final customer approval
Requirements
  • B.S. in Electrical or Controls Engineering preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience with PLC programming, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Logix Products
  • Industrial robot experience a plus
  • Ability to read, interpret and edit electrical schematics
  • Willingness to travel 25%
