Kleinfelder is seeking a Water/Wastewater Territory Manager to oversee water and wastewater treatment facilities in our Midwest territory. This role involves business development, expansion of operations, and building strong relationships with municipal and industrial clients.
Responsibilities- Identify new business opportunities for high growth and profitability.
- Assist in the evaluation of prospective clients and opportunities, reinforcing sound business decision-making.
- Engage in proposal teams, proposal reviews and mock interviews for major pursuits to ensure sound client value propositions have been developed.
- Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers and other project delivery personnel to improve their design and BD skills and activities.
- Engage in the recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation of employees.
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field. Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Valid Water and/or Wastewater Operator License required;
Class 2 or higher Water preferred. - Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and environmental regulations.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, equipment, operations, and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in computer applications used for data management, reporting, and operational analysis.
Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
