Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred Mechatronics).
  • 5+ years of experience in Tier 1 automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System).
  • 4+ years of experience with automated material handling.
Preferred:
  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar).
  • Ability to conduct data analysis using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Advanced Industrial Engineer to lead and drive a large-scale ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) initiative focused on automated material handling. This individual will serve as a key leader on the project, overseeing planning, execution, and communication efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. The initial project is expected to last approximately two years, with opportunities to support additional automation and logistics initiatives afterward.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ASRS systems, a background in robotics, automation, and logistics, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

This role will lead a large automation project that uses an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) to move and store materials in a manufacturing environment. You'll manage the project from planning through implementation, work with different teams, and help ensure everything stays on track. The initial project will last about two years, with opportunities to support future automation and logistics projects.

The ideal candidate has experience with ASRS systems, robotics, automation and logistics, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
