Position Summary
Experienced Powertrain Test Engineer with expertise in engine, transmission, hybrid, and electrified powertrain validation. Responsible for planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting component, subsystem, and vehicle-level testing activities to support product development, performance validation, durability, emissions compliance, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute powertrain test plans for engines, transmissions, driveline, hybrid and EV propulsion systems.
- Conduct performance, durability, reliability, thermal, NVH, emissions, and calibration validation tests.
- Support vehicle-level and dynamometer-based testing activities.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, calibration, controls, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
- Validate compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal engineering requirements.
- Prepare test reports, engineering documentation, and management presentations.
- Support issue investigation, troubleshooting, DVP&R execution, and product launch activities.
- Coordinate test schedules, instrumentation setup, and laboratory resources.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years (Mid-Level) or 5+ years (Senior Level) of automotive powertrain testing experience.
- Experience with ICE, Hybrid, or EV propulsion systems.
- Knowledge of automotive development processes and validation standards.
