As a
VDC Inventor Detailer
, you'll help transform engineering concepts into
accurate, detailed 3D models and construction drawings
that support fabrication and field installation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Model
  parts and equipment for substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate
  with the Utility VDC Coordination Team to create and coordinate 3D models.
• Prepare
  fabrication and installation drawings for construction and prefabrication.
• Generate
  detailed installation drawings for field and prefabrication personnel.
• Assist
  with identifying and resolving design and constructability challenges.
• Develop
  your technical and VDC skills with the goal of advancing into a
  VDC Utility Coordinator
  role.

You don't have to have years of VDC experience to succeed here.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor or construction experience in High Voltage Substation/Transmission/Distribution, or Renewable Energy or other related field
• Ability to read and interpret design or construction documents preferred
