Location: Seaman

Summary

Coordinates activities of workers engaged in conducting credit investigations and collecting delinquent accounts of customers by performing the following duties personally or through co-workers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Investigates and verifies financial status of prospective customers
  • Screens inpatients/outpatients for determination of HCAP and sliding fee scale eligibility
  • Answers customers questions regarding statement and insurance coverage
  • Established credit limitations on customer accounts and handles special credit arrangement and deviations from standard terms of payment
  • Reviews A/R reports to ascertain status of collections and outstanding balances
  • Receives payment on accounts
  • Obtains signed authorized rep form
  • Screens patients for Medicaid eligibility
  • Opens cashier drawer, balances cashier drawer and closes cashier drawer
  • Maintains active eligibility spreadsheet (G:drive)
  • Maintain spreadsheet for denied applications (G:drive)
  • Scans and maintains all applications and income verification documents
