Education
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study, or specialized banking education and training in a related field preferred.
Experience

A minimum of three (3) years of related experience is normally required.

Preferred Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of bank deposit services and deposit service software programs.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying sales opportunities for the Bank’s Treasury Management area; achieving goals as assigned; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.

  • Identify sales opportunities for the bank’s Treasury Management Services area.
  • Jointly establish quantitative sales objectives with the assigned supervisor on an annual basis, integrated with the bank’s annual marketing/sales plan.
  • Participate in independent and/or joint calling with business partners (Regional Leaders, Commercial Lenders, Small Business Lenders, Retail, Wealth Management, and Private Banking) to develop prospects for sale of Treasury Management services such as online banking, remote deposit capture, positive pay, merchant services, etc.
  • Solicit new Treasury Management business from present and prospective customers; maintain ongoing business relationships with present customers to take advantage of additional cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Develop, propose, and professionally present comprehensive Treasury Management solutions based on client needs and objectives.
  • Participate in the development and promotion of new Treasury Management products.
  • Work with the Director of Treasury Management to increase Treasury Management clients and balances; jointly monitor Treasury Management services.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Treasury Management and Information Technology personnel to identify new and emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the bank.
  • Educate business partners in assigned region(s) on the knowledge and use of Treasury Management services; assist them with pre‑qualifying prospects with Treasury Management needs.
  • Achieve goals assigned to the Director of Treasury Management as established in the division’s annual operating plan.
  • Coordinate departmental tasks with coworkers inside and outside the department to ensure an efficient process and timely completion of essential tasks.
  • Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested and comply with information as necessary or as directed, providing data to appropriate bank personnel.
  • Respond to inquiries relating to the particular area or requests from customers or other personnel within established time frames and policy.
  • Abide by current laws and organizational policies designed to promote an environment free of harassment and discriminatory behavior.
  • Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices to maintain risk management, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CRA, BSA, ECA).
  • Communicate with the Director of Treasury Management, other department managers, and appropriate staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Director of Treasury Management and other group(s) as required.
