Payroll Specialist in Stryker, Ohio

Our growing firm is looking for a Full Time Payroll Processor to join our team. Our local office is in Stryker, Ohio (Northwest Ohio). Working from our Stryker office is required. Local applicants only please.

Are you detailed oriented? Do you have 3+ years of experience processing payroll (specifically within Ohio and/or other states as well), preparing quarterly returns and paying payroll taxes? Must have good computer skills and able to learn new programs.

• Process Payroll (Cyberpay Payroll Program) on our team for over 75 companies
• Employee & Employer Updates as Needed
• Setup new companies for processing
• Monitor payroll tax rate changes, update system
• Cross train as backup to Tax Manager
• Open and close new payroll tax accounts, as needed
• Reconciliations - taxes, returns, benefits, etc.
• Workers Compensation Reports and payments for multiple companies, including DFSP requirements
• OSHA reporting as needed
• EEOC reporting
• Filing and other office duties
• Familiarity with Ohio Business Gateway / Ohio E-Tax preferred but not required

Salary dependent upon experience (approx. $47,000 - $50,000 per year). Medical, dental, vision, Basic Life, AD&D, Telehealth, 401k matching contributions and profit sharing. PTO accrues per payroll and 1 week vacation after 1 year of service.
