Position Purpose
The Branch Operations Coordinator (BOC) plays a critical role in ensuring all branch employees adhere to operational guidelines and that systems function efficiently according to established policies and procedures. The BOC is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience by leveraging knowledge of available products and services and embodies our mission to enhance the financial lives of our employees and shareholders while positively impacting the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee that daily operational tasks are executed by all branch employees effectively.
- Responsibilities include retaining operational materials and managing audits to assure operational soundness.
- Create an outstanding customer experience by accurately processing transactions, fostering relationships, assessing customer needs, recommending products, and connecting customers with our partners to drive growth for the bank.
- Continuously develop a deep understanding of products and services to meet customer needs and resolve issues daily.
- Respond to customer requests swiftly and accurately.
- Show comprehensive understanding of consumer lending throughout daily and weekly activities; build customer trust and manage relationships throughout the loan process.
- Maintain constant communication internally and externally to ensure a remarkable customer experience while adhering to regulations and following company policies to ensure the safety and soundness of both customers and the bank.
- Commit to personal growth through active learning, adapting to new procedures and systems, and enhancing skills to support the organization and team.
- Promote and facilitate the use of technology in everyday banking interactions, guiding customers in utilizing mobile banking, P2P transactions, online banking, and more.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a branch banking environment preferred.
- Knowledgeable in all operational areas including customer service, new accounts, and lending.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage deadlines amidst frequent interruptions.
- Associate’s degree preferred;
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Job may involve eye strain due to constant computer usage and reviewing reports.
- Ability to focus on tasks in potentially distracting work conditions is essential.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication, both in person and via telephone, and the ability to sit for long periods are required.
- Some local travel may be necessary for meetings and training events.
