Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies, escalating issues as needed
  • Prepare and maintain journal entries in accordance with established procedures
  • Analyze data to support accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Partner with internal operational teams to resolve transaction‑related issues
  • Ensure adherence to processes that protect financial integrity and customer outcomes
  • Collect, analyze, verify, research and recommend solutions to processing and booking problems and reports through daily analysis
  • Balances and reconciles various cases and suspense account to the general ledger
  • Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements
  • Ensures accuracy of reporting and reconciliation for various businesses, products and functions
  • Trains and cross‑trains other team members on work functions and processing procedures
  • Acts as technical source to answer questions from other departments
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and follow established processes
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and tools
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Influential communicator who can collaborate effectively with internal partners
  • Ability to balance quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or related field
  • Two years of experience in accounting, finance, tax reporting or customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate both internally and externally
  • Ability to set work priorities that conform with established standards
Job Conditions

Success Flex basis. The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location:
Grandview: 1000 Yard Street Grandview OH, 43215.

Work schedule:

2 days in office, 3 days remote. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

Compensation

The national salary range for Financial Services Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst: $49,100.00‑$91,300.00. The expected starting salary range for Financial Services Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst: $49,100.00‑$73,700.00.
