Execution Officer
The Execution Officer main mission is to manage and coordinate transversally across the different Capital Markets business lines, among other things, the initiation and follow-up of Know Your Customer requests in coordination with Relationship Managers, data analysis and integrity, reporting, settlement process, ESG Assessments and deal closing process. Ultimately, they make sure that regulatory requirements are met and that client onboarding as well as deal execution is done on time, and that critical data for strategic initiatives and portfolio monitoring is accurate and easily accessible, allowing to make the right credit decisions and bring added value to the business
Your Main Activities Are
- Initiation and follow-up of KYC requests and client onboarding for primary and secondary trades, developing an understanding of the ECM business, and the internal KYC requirements for its transactions and clients
- Monitor all live on-boarding requests, coordinating with the DD teams to ensure the process is appropriately paced. Track the progress of on-boarding requests closely, targeting full completion ahead of the anticipated transaction launch date. Escalate cases where KYC is expected not to be in place before transaction launch so relevant KYC Exception requests can be made
- Be the ECM SPOC for Settlement topics, which includes reviewing involved entities KYC needs, instruments static data, flow of funds and SSIs, booking process and coordination with Middle Office, Tax and Legal
- Enter the trades into the relevant systems and ensure that all settlement flows take place smoothly with Middle and Back Office
- Follow up closely from assignment of settlement role with involved internal and external parties from until full conclusion of settlement process for the various relevant products, such as IPOs, ABBs, Equity Linked
- Contribute to transversal tasks upon request, including improvements
- Comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, procedures, Group compliance standards, as well as with the seven themes and the anti-corruption addendum of the Code of Conduct, such as Customers 'interest, Financial Security, Market Integrity, Professional ethics, Respect for Persons, Group Protection, and Involvement within Society and notably the completion of mandatory trainings in due time
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Law or similar
- Excellent communication in English, both written and oral
- Up to 2 years of experience in Settlement Administrative Support or Risk and Controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Financial Analysis and Advisory
- Detailed oriented
- Capacity to organize
- Ability to collaborate
- Capability to be analytical with critical thinking
