Senior Analyst in the Loan Trading Middle Office
The Senior Analyst in the Loan Trading Middle Office is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the trade support function for syndicated loan products. This role acts as a key liaison between Sales and Trading desks, external clients, and internal operations teams. The Senior Analyst is fundamental in driving process improvements, strengthening controls, and developing team expertise.
Your Main Activities Are
- Providing mentorship, strategic guidance, and support to junior team members to enhance overall team efficiency and ensure strict adherence to compliance and standards and procedures
- Proactively identifying training needs within the team and designing or delivering targeted training sessions to address knowledge gaps and promote continuous professional growth
- Remaining current with all LMA documentation updates and industry developments and communicating relevant changes or innovations to the wider team promptly and effectively
- Leading knowledge-sharing initiatives by presenting specialized topics such as CLOs, warehousing solutions, and any new concept relevant to the syndicated loan trading industry — during monthly team meetings to elevate the collective expertise and performance of the group. In addition to proactively share best practices with team members
- Proactively suggest, participate in, and lead projects aimed at improving processes through technological advancements or operational changes
- Provide high-level operational support to Sales and Trading desks, ensuring accurate trade booking and front-to-back process integrity
- Act as a senior escalation point for production issues, managing risk across operations
- Manage transactions across multiple platforms, and ensure accurate trade allocation, validation, reconciliation, and confirmation
- Take an active role in process reviews and strategic initiatives enhancing trade support functions and driving continuous improvement
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- From 3 to 4 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Pack Tools, namely Excel
- Knowledge of Middle Office Operations
- Analytical ability, resilience and client focused
- Ability to deliver and collaborate
