Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Germany, Korntal-Münchingen.

• Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Lead the annual budgeting process, including production budgets, labor and overhead rates; prepare monthly S&OP, rolling forecasts, and profit forecasts at regional and international level; support strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights.
• Financial Performance & Cost Control:
  Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis and recommend corrective actions; maintain and continuously improve inventory controls and cost accounting processes; analyze monthly variances and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates; maintain and oversee product pricing to ensure profitability and alignment with business strategy; ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; consolidate financial results across multiple regions and legal entities;
  
  ensure full compliance with IFRS, local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements; coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
• Internal Controls & Governance:
  Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to global finance policies and procedures; develop and enhance management reporting, analysis tools, and control measures to support decision‑making and risk management.

• Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
• Proven ability to manage complexity in international environments.
• Knowledge of Germany and international accounting standards, including US GAAP / IFRS, desired.
• Proficiency in spoken and written German and English; other EU languages are an advantage.
• Excellent SAP knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Experience working with reporting software tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in F&A.
