Trader And Sales Assistant

The Trader and Sales Assistant team aims to accompany the continuous enhancement of the quality of service provided to our clients, notably post-trade services. Its role is to support traders and sales in their daily tasks, in the most timely and efficient manner. The trading and Sales assistant team is the key contact for external clients but also for other BNPP functions.

Your Main Activities Are:

• Ensure all Booking queries are addressed and escalated to the Marketer or Trader where appropriate
• Ensure all trades are confirmed to the relevant Client on Trade Date
• Ensure all Client Static Data is kept up to date by passing any new or updated information or by performing ad-hoc reconciliations of our records against those of the Client
• Act as an intermediary between the Marketers and all Operational areas of the Bank;
• Help on the onboarding process for the Prime Brokerage Clients
• Assist front office in deal capture and post trade events management on barrier triggers, option exercise, novation's and early terminations
• Ensure that Markit Wire (MW) is monitored to ensure all new trades, amendments, unwinds and novations alleged to us are picked up and affirmed
• within the regulatory deadlines;
  Execute daily controls to mitigate risks
• Work in close collaboration with the onshore (London) team

Profile and Skills to Success:

• Academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas
• Interest in Financial Markets (with focus on IRD (Interest Rate Derivatives) and FI(Fixed Income))
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• A structured, methodical and organized approach to work
• Good Team spirit, ability to work alone and with others
• Proactive and capacity to deliver results with precision and rigorousness
• Good time management and organization
• Client focus and resilience
