Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned Healthcare Revenue Cycle & Reimbursement Performance Manager to join one of our valued client partners. This newly created leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced healthcare finance professional who excels at optimizing accounts receivable performance, reimbursement strategy, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance within a hospital environment.
The successful candidate will oversee enterprise-wide Accounts Receivable and Cost Reporting operations while partnering with Finance and Revenue Cycle leadership to improve cash flow, reimbursement accuracy, financial performance, and operational decision-making. This position requires a strategic leader capable of translating complex financial data into actionable business insights that support long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all Accounts Receivable and Cost Reporting functions across the healthcare system.
- Monitor organizational AR performance including aging, denial trends, cash collections, net collections, payer performance, and reimbursement metrics.
- Oversee preparation, coordination, review, and audit support for Medicare, Medicaid, and governmental cost reports.
- Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, financial models, and business intelligence reporting that support leadership decision-making.
- Analyze reimbursement methodologies, payer trends, denials, underpayments, and collection opportunities while recommending operational improvements.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, operational leaders, reimbursement consultants, auditors, and governmental agencies to strengthen financial performance.
- Develop reimbursement forecasts supporting budgeting, long-range financial planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Maintain strong internal controls supporting reimbursement reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity.
- Prepare executive presentations, financial summaries, board-level reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on reimbursement optimization, denial prevention, automation, reporting efficiency, and cash acceleration.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare finance, reimbursement, accounting, revenue cycle, or healthcare financial operations experience.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies.
- Working knowledge of healthcare accounting principles, governmental cost reporting, reimbursement regulations, and revenue cycle operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience utilizing Power BI, financial reporting platforms, business intelligence tools, and data visualization software.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- CPA, MBA, MHA, HFMA certification, or other advanced healthcare finance credential.
- Experience with DSH, UPL, supplemental payment programs, Medicare settlements, uncompensated care funding, and bad debt reimbursement.
- Experience supporting hospital financial audits and regulatory reporting.
- Strong healthcare financial modeling and forecasting experience.
- Experience leading healthcare process improvement and revenue optimization initiatives.
- Stable career progression demonstrating increasing leadership responsibility within healthcare finance.
Compensation: $86,000–$118,000 annually
