Civista Bank is seeking a Branch Operations Specialist to support daily branch activities within our Finance, Accounting & Administration team. In this role, you will ensure accurate transaction processing, maintain compliance with banking regulations, and oversee cash control and audit procedures. You will assist staff with operational questions, resolve customer issues, and support new account and loan documentation. Partnering closely with branch leadership, you will help optimize workflows, monitor risk, and promote Civista's customer focused, community centric culture across all branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Support daily branch operations, including transaction processing and cash handling oversight
- Monitor compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and branch audit documentation
- Support new account setup and basic loan and deposit documentation
- Assist branch staff with operational questions and issue resolution
- Identify and escalate operational risks or irregularities
- Help optimize branch workflows and procedures for efficiency and accuracy
- Deliver high-quality customer service when resolving operational inquiries
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounting & Administration on reporting needs
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, integrity, and community focus

- Core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS)
- Regulatory compliance (Reg CC, Reg E, BSA/AML basics)
