Location: Wright-Patterson AFB
Duties Help The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to serve as command post controller and carry out all functions associated with command post operations for airlift/rescue/fighter/special operations units. The organizational location of this position is the command post of an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) wing. 445 AW/CD-Wright-Patterson. DUTIES: DUTY 1:

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the lower grade, GS-07 level or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include:
Developing and implementing training programs, Advising commander and other key personnel on operational reporting, mission monitoring and emergency actions. Coordinating and directing alert functions with various on and off base agencies for emergency management and the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. (I) Knowledge of and skill in applying an extensive body of AFRC, GMAJCOM, USAF, and JCS command post regulations, methods, and procedures, to perform a wide variety of command post assignments and to handle a wide range of situations, make arrangements, provide advice, that requires authoritative procedural knowledge of various C2 regulations/procedures;
(2) Knowledge of support organizations and interrelationships among those programs; (3) Knowledge of SORTS directives/instructions and ability to correlate and analyze a variety of SORTS and other operational reports data and processes; (4) Knowledge of air operations systems, flight operations, communications, security, and weather data programs; (5) Ability to use automated software to produce graphs, charts, and slides showing program or…
