The Stylist role at Ulta Beauty in Rossford, OH is a full-time, on-site position within the in-store salon. The Stylist provides hair care and styling services, including consultations, cuts, color, treatments, and finishing services aligned with Ulta Beauty standards and guest expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting guests, assessing hair needs, recommending appropriate services and products, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant salon environment.

The Stylist also supports retail sales by educating guests on professional haircare products, promoting current offers, and building long-term guest relationships. Collaboration with salon and store teams to meet service, sales, and guest satisfaction goals is an essential part of the role.

• Current state cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain) and professional training in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, including the ability to consult, listen actively, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Experience working in a salon or beauty environment, with knowledge of professional haircare products and basic retail selling techniques.
• Ability to maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards, and to follow company policies and local regulations.
• Comfort working on feet for extended periods, managing appointment schedules, and adapting to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and appointment booking tools; willingness to learn Ulta Beauty processes and technology.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store and salon operating hours.
