Role Description The Hairstylist at Blo Blow Drybar Lewis Center is responsible for providing professional blowouts, updos, braids, and other styling services, as well as basic makeup applications when needed. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with guests to understand their preferences, performing high-quality hair services, recommending products, and maintaining a clean and organized station. The role also involves delivering friendly customer service, supporting team members during busy periods, and following salon standards and safety protocols.

This is a part‑time, on‑site role located in Lewis Center, OH, with schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and peak event times.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling skills, including blowouts, updos, braids, and event‑ready looks.
• Candidates should possess Cosmetology knowledge and hold a current Ohio cosmetology or hairstyling license (or be license‑eligible).
• Candidates should possess solid Hair Care skills, including product knowledge and the ability to advise guests on maintaining healthy hair.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to create a welcoming, professional guest experience.
• Previous salon, blow dry bar, or beauty industry experience is preferred; makeup application skills are a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast‑paced environment, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and special event bookings.
