About The Role

Southwoods Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist for our state-of-the-art Howland Imaging location. In this role, you will perform a variety of ultrasound and radiology procedures, ensuring every patient receives the compassionate care for which Southwoods is known.

Howland Imaging – Warren, OH

Full-time

• Clinical Excellence:
  Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Patient Care:
  Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process with empathy, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to interpret results and provide accurate, high-resolution images.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment and document findings accurately in electronic medical records.

• Certification:
  Current Ultrasound Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(S).
• Continuing
  
  Education:
  
  Must remain compliant with all RDMS and ARRT requirements for continuing education.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in breast (BR) ultrasound is highly preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA standards.
