• Valid driver’s license for at least 6 yrs required
• CNA preferred
• Every other Saturday/Every other holiday
• Hours vary- one week 8:30a-6p, one week 9:30a-4:30p- this can change depending on scheduled events
• Occasional evenings
• Wage depends on CNA certification: will be discussed during interview

• Caring for the residents by showing passion for planning fun activities.
• Helping with and participating in fun and engaging activities.

• Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and referral sources
• Professional demeanor in facilitating activities as scheduled on calendar
• Engaging with residents in small group activities
• Capacity to assess individual resident interests
• Willingness to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities
• Capable of collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement
• Prove interested in providing one‑on‑one time with residents
• Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader

Nursing Home Activities experience

• State Tested Nursing Assistant (preferred, not required)
