💵 $17.68 – $26.52/hour, based on experience

The Community Living Specialist will support individuals with developmental disabilities in accessing meaningful recreational and community experiences. This includes direct support, collaboration with local schools and providers, activity planning, and facilitating life skills development for students transitioning out of high school.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Successful background checks (BCI/FBI and others as required by ODoDD)

• Review Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to guide support strategies
• Organize and facilitate recreational activities in-home and in the community
• Assist high school students with advocacy, employment prep, and independent living
• Coordinate transportation for events
• Help recruit and direct volunteers for activities
• Report Unusual Incidents per agency policy
