Provide non-emergency transportation of patients and assume responsibility for various errands.
Education, Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
* High school diploma or equivalency degree and good communication skills.
* Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
Required Length and Type of Experience
* Must hold a current valid driver's license as required by the state and have an excellent driving record as verified by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
Required Licensure or Certification
* Must satisfactorily complete CPR and first-aid training provided by Glenbeigh or provide certificate indicating prior successful completion of such training.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
* Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with patients.
* Ability to lift, push, pull, and position patients frequently.
* Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.
* Potential exposure to injuries and illness
* Frequent need to handle emergency or crisis situations
* Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
* Potential exposure to the risk of blood borne diseases.
