Surgical Technologist - Mount Carmel St. Ann's

Position Overview

Full‑time, 12‑hour day shift Surgical Technician position at Mount Carmel St. Ann's. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the technician provides patient care, sets up and maintains the surgical field, and assists the surgeon during operative procedures.

• Assist in meeting goals and initiatives for the surgery department, including room turnover and first‑case on‑time starts.
• Assist in training and orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Maintain sterile technique.

• Graduate of a surgical technology program with a certificate of surgical technology through the NBSTSA, NCCT, or graduate of a school of practical nursing.
• If a graduate of a school of practical nursing, current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.
