Pay Rate: $40/hr – $55/hr DOE (Full, Part Time & PRN)

$15k Sign‑On Bonus (FT position). $7.5 Sign‑On Bonus (PT position).

• Provide direct patient care, assess and plan treatment, and implement therapy to maximize functional progress.
• Evaluate functional needs and outcomes; consult with other specialists.
• Review patients’ functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Design and implement a plan of care based on a thorough assessment; incorporate participation of significant others when appropriate.
• Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
• Direct the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Communicate effectively with other professional and support staff.
• Practice hospital and departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards.
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and plans; maintain prescriptions and signatures.
• Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, in‑service meetings, and workshops.
• Keep up to date on professional literature.
• Provide direction and leadership to staff and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.
• Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and solve practical problems.
• Demonstrate the ability to listen actively and evaluate social situations objectively.
• Function independently with integrity, flexibility, and work well with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• Comply with community policies and procedures for workplace safety, including infection control, emergency response, and safety protocols.
• Comply with all company policies related to resident rights, abuse prevention, reporting, and confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Employee Handbook and compliance with its policies.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

• Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population served.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations.
• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
• At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide.
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently for job performance.
