As a Direct Service Provider (DSP), you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in developing daily living and community‑based skills that promote independence and personal growth. You will provide direct support in clients' homes and throughout the community, helping individuals achieve their goals while maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful, hands‑on work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to build a rewarding career in human services.

Flexible scheduling options are available, including weekday, evening, and weekend shifts, with both full‑time and part‑time opportunities.

• Assist individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills such as budgeting, meal planning, comparative shopping, and daily routines.
• Provide transportation and support for medical appointments, recreational activities, and community involvement.
• Support personal care needs and homemaker tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
• Respond appropriately to daily challenges using sound judgment, patience, and problem‑solving skills.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with individuals served, families, and team members.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• You establish strong, trusting relationships with the individuals you support and become a dependable presence in their lives.
• Individuals show growth in independence and confidence with daily living and community participation.
• You consistently follow agency policies, maintain accurate records, and reliably fulfill scheduled shifts.
• You contribute positively to a supportive team culture through communication, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and quality care.

• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals with a desire to support people with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration required.
• Willingness to travel throughout Portage County, including Wyndham.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet driving record requirements.
• Previous experience in human services or caregiving is preferred but not required.

• Starting pay:
  From $17.00 per hour.
• Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
• Mileage reimbursement for work‑related travel within Portage County, including Wyndham.
