Direct Support Professional (DSP) Cortland

Part‑time position, $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

At Via Quest Residential Services, DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and homes. Training for this position is fully provided, so no prior experience is required. This role enables you to make a difference by fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring safety and health needs are met.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring safety and health needs.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of life.
• Complete household tasks, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid OH driver’s license with car insurance, meeting Via Quest’s authorized driver criteria.
• Physical ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs, and to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

• No‑experience candidates—training is provided.
