Location: Ottawa Hills

Job Description

This position is responsible for working with the Neurology-Neurovascular and Neurointerventional faculty on research projects related to stroke and neurointervention. The role focuses on clinical trials, collecting data, writing and submitting grant applications, and completing manuscripts from collected data.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Research experience in neurology preferred. A Master’s or health care degree such as an MD, DO, BSN or equivalent is desirable but not required. Advanced degree or equivalent training in biological sciences or translational research will meet these requirements.
  • HIPAA certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • CITI training through IRB obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and training desirable but not necessary. On‑the‑job training will be provided to acquire this skill.
  • Knowledge and experience with IRB applications preferred.
