Position Overview:

This pharmacist role supports outpatient retail pharmacy operations at two locations in Gratiot, OH. The role involves prescription interpretation, dispensing, patient counseling, technical supervision, and pharmacy management duties.

• Graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Demonstrated customer‑service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Interpret prescriptions and dispense pharmaceuticals and devices in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and information.
• Supervise technicians and serve as a role model for courteous, compassionate care.
• Review patient utilization, therapeutic duplications, disease state, drug interactions, allergies, dosing, and duration to identify concerns and take appropriate action.
• Contact prescribers for clarifications or notification of unavailable medications.
• Verify appropriate agent and proper prescribing practitioner.
• Calculate accurate doses, prepare compounded prescriptions, and IV medications per physician orders.
• Oversee store cash management and observe all staff activity.
• Assist in orienting new staff, interns, and externs.
• Manage workflow, assign workloads, and approve overtime and time off as needed.
• Order and inventory pharmaceutical products to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
• Secure building at closing and act as pharmacist in charge when the managing pharmacist is absent.

• Full‑time position (need

• Location 1:
  Monday–Friday 8 am–8 pm (RPh and 3 techs begin 7 am);
  Saturday and Sunday 9 am–5 pm. RPh shifts: 1 Saturday every 4 weeks and 1 Sunday every 12 weeks, with the possibility of 3 12‑hour or 4 10‑hour shifts. Patients: ~1,000 prescriptions on Mondays; 700–800 on other weekdays; 250–300 on weekends.
• Location 2:
  Monday–Friday 9 am–7 pm, Saturday 9 am–5 pm, closed Sunday. RPh shifts: 9 am–5:30 pm or 10:30 am–7 pm, 1 Saturday every 4 weeks. Two RPhs scheduled weekdays with an additional on busy days. Patients: 500–600 prescriptions during the week; 150–175 on Saturdays.
• Both locations closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas; rotate other holidays (one per year or two). Salary ranges from $54.85 /hr ($114 K) to $75 /hr ($156 K) based on experience; e.g., 10 years of experience ≈ $64.52 /hr ($134 K).

The pharmacy utilizes Parata Max robotic dispensing for approximately 45 % of its prescription volume. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager, who is highly respected within the organization.
