Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of the Practice Manager/Coordinator.
- Is responsible for being able to multitask all clerical activities.
- Public/guest relations and communications are key components of the job.
- Acts as the focus of communication in the work area regarding all staff, providers, and patient care activities, family, etc.
- Performs clerical, registration, and scheduling duties for a full range of patient services.
- Performs other duties to assist manager, coordinator, co-workers, and providers.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- High School education required. Advanced education may be required for specific job modalities.
Experience
- Medical office experience preferred; customer service experience required.
